Customers can require users to enter their Fortis user name and password to protect against unauthorized use and provide a comprehensive audit trail for documents scanned at the copier, which is a critical requirement for organizations that store sensitive information in their document management system. Changes to user profiles, permissions, or folders made from any PC client in the network are immediately available, making information management from the copier as efficient as from the desktop.
